Position Summary
To perform payroll data entry duties in a busy office setting.
Pay : $21.75 / hour
Work Schedule : Sunday to Thursday
Responsibilities
- Take information from hardcopy timesheets & enter it accurately and completely into a computerized timekeeping system (Deltek Time & Expense).
- Understand charge codes structures, overtime calculations, time off systems, and other relevant data.
- Communicate electronically in writing and by phone with supported contract representatives to ask relevant and needed questions about submitted timesheets, obtain necessary information, and provide guidance to contract representatives regarding the proper completion of timesheets.
- Read and understand standard operating procedures, company policies and procedures, collective bargaining agreements, & state and federal laws relating to payroll completion.
- Upload documents to electronic files.
- Maintain electronic files.
- Assist in providing electronic file administration and training to new employees.
- Perform weekly audits to ensure that data remains at 100% accuracy.
- Attend and participate in weekly team meetings.
Qualifications
High School Diploma / GEDCan pay strict attention to detail.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite & Teams. Previous experience with Deltek Time & Expense and INFOR preferred.Previous payroll experience preferred.Benefits
