Schedule : Nights or Evenings (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation :

Less than 1 year : $27.42 / hr

2–3 years : $29.89 / hr

4–5 years : $31.12 / hr

6–7 years : $32.36 / hr

9–10+ years : $33.59 / hr

16+ years : $36.95 / hr

Incentives :

Shift Differentials : Nights +$3.25 / hr, Weekends +$2 / hr

Sign-On Bonus : $25,000 (available for both evening and night shifts)

Relocation Assistance : Case-by-case basis

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This role is essential to providing safe, high-quality respiratory care in a dynamic acute care setting. You will work alongside physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for patients requiring respiratory therapy.

Key Responsibilities :

Administer and manage routine and advanced respiratory care therapies.

Perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs).

Assess patient responses and monitor side effects of respiratory medications.

Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans and proper equipment use.

Qualifications

Experience : Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience (acute care preferred : ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, or other critical care). Home care or long-term care experience considered.

Licensure : Active Florida State Respiratory License.

Certifications :

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through NBRC.

Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – within 30 days of hire.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – within 30 days of hire.

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – within 30 days of hire.
