Manufacturing Engineer – Engine Lines

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer – Engine Lines within Rolls-Royce Canada. Working in a High Performance Culture environment, the main accountability of the role is to manage the technical standard of the Civil Aerospace products by improving the engineering processes supporting the operations, working closely with the OEM to develop technical solutions, and coordinating / delivering on all engineering related activities.

Key Accountabilities

• Delivering cost optimization through the control of technical specifications.
• Contributing towards minimizing the cost of non-quality through failure and defect analysis using root cause analysis methodology.
• Finding solutions for engine type specific technical problems, including disposition of non-conforming material in MRB in a timely manner in order to meet customer expectations.
• Investigating Civil Aerospace products that do not demonstrate delivery of the expected performance, without exceeding engine limitations.
• Developing Engine Management Programs and technical specifications, engine fleet type life cycle cost optimization, and engine life development.
