We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Hospitality Management team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making within our hospitality organization. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing financial performance, identifying growth opportunities, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Financial Analysis : Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including revenue, expense, and profitability analysis for various departments within the hospitality organization.

Budgeting and Forecasting : Collaborate with department heads and senior management to develop accurate budgets and forecasts. Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.

Financial Reporting : Understand and prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, cash flow forecast and variance analyses. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Financial Modeling : Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, evaluate investment opportunities, and assess the financial impact of potential business decisions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) : Identify and track relevant KPIs to measure financial performance and operational efficiency. Provide insights and recommendations based on KPI analysis.

Risk Assessment : Conduct risk assessments and assist in developing risk mitigation strategies. Monitor financial compliance and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Financial Systems : Utilize financial software systems and tools to gather, analyze, and interpret financial data accurately and efficiently.

Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and accounting team, to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.

Experience : Prefer 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry. Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting is required.

Financial Expertise : Strong understanding of financial principles, financial statements, and financial analysis techniques. Familiarity with hospitality industry-specific financial metrics is a plus.

Analytical Skills : Proficiency in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and data interpretation. Advanced Excel skills are essential, and experience with financial software systems (e.g., ERP, budgeting tools) is preferred.

Attention to Detail : Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.

Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

Adaptability : Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
