Job Description

As a Technical Proposal Writer, you will join a small team of technical writers dedicated to crafting responses to government solicitations. You will regularly interface with subject matter experts, managers, and directors to gather necessary information, develop resumes, review technical inputs, and organize content into a coherent and dynamic proposal. Your role is crucial in ensuring project deadlines are met for all assigned projects.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

Proficiency in technical writing and report writing.

Experience with engineering and naval systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with naval ships and systems.

Work Environment

This position requires working on-site in an office setting from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The work environment is stable, with the ability to adapt to changing project needs and minimal layoffs.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00 / hr.
