Job Description

ATC Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our team for a 13-week night shift assignment in Bismarck, ND. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. This role requires precision, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

  • Certification : BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
  • Education : Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Licensure / Registration :

    • o Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or eligible – Required

    o State licensure (North Dakota)

  • Health Requirements : COVID vaccination, recent PPD or Chest X-Ray – Required
  • Experience : Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Radiology Technologist (hospital or acute care preferred)
  • Must successfully pass background check(s) and drug screening
  • Strong technical knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a healthcare team
  • Excellent communication, patient care, and critical thinking skills

    • Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operate radiologic imaging equipment to capture accurate diagnostic images
  • Follow safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining steps clearly and compassionately
  • Ensure high-quality imaging results for physician review
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
  • Troubleshoot equipment and report malfunctions as needed
  • Adhere to all facility, state, and federal regulations regarding radiology and patient safety
