  • Orientation is bi-weekly with upcoming start dates : 10 / 27, 11 / 10.
  • Facility has 154 beds and offers services including orthopedics, spine services, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, emergency department, behavioral health, and includes 11 multi-specialty physician clinics.
  • Facility is a Chest Pain Center and Joint Commission Accredited.
  • Located in Clyde, NC, 20 miles from Asheville, near Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

    • Job Requirements

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience.
  • Must have skills / experience : Step-down / ICU experience.
  • Required education : Associate Degree in Nursing (AND) minimal.

    • Schedule Information

  • Shift : PM.
  • Weekly guaranteed hours : 36.
  • Weekend hours : Every other weekend.
  • Call requirements : None.
  • Float requirements : Yes.

  • Unit : Progressive Care (Cardiac specialty).
  • Role : Registered Nurse (RN).

  • Patient population : Adult cardiac patients.
  • Common diagnoses / treatments : Cardiac care including post cardiac cath lab patients and cardioversions.
  • Required skills : Step-down / ICU experience.
