ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM

    • \n

  • Guaranteed 36 or 48 weekly hours (must be specified on submission)

    • \n

  • 13-week assignment length

    • \n

  • Work every other weekend as required

    • \n

  • No call requirements

    • \n

  • Patient ratio of 1 : 5 / 6 on a 60-bed medical unit

    • \n

  • Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed

    • \n

  • 1 year medical surgical experience required (inpatient only)

    • \n

  • Current RN license in Missouri or eligible for Missouri licensure

    • \n

  • Required certification : BLS from AHA

    • \n

  • Preferred certification : ACLS from AHA

    • \n

  • Work with equipment including bladder scanner, vein finder, IV pumps, wound vacs

    • \n

  • Use EPIC electronic medical record system

    • \n

  • Black scrubs required

    • \n

  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1

    • \n

  • Must be available entire week for day shift orientation

    • \n

  • Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

    • \n

  • Care for medical patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities

    • \n

  • Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments
