Creative Director Opportunity

At Tilt (formerly Empower), we see a side of people that traditional lenders miss. Our mobile-first products and machine learning-powered credit models look beyond outdated credit scores, using over 250 real-time financial signals to recognize real potential. Named among the next billion-dollar startups, we're not just changing how people access financial products we're creating a new credit system that backs the working, whatever they're working toward.

At Tilt, we believe people are incredible and we're building a new credit system to prove it. Now we're looking for a Creative Director to shape our brand soul and tell stories that resonate far beyond fintech. You'll turn Tilt's creativity into cultural impact, from a 6-second ad to a full manifesto, while inspiring teams and executives around a bold vision.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Own Tilt's narrative and visual identity across campaigns and channels.
  • Translate cultural insights into brand stories that drive results and build equity.
  • Develop creative frameworks that unify copy, design, video, and social.
  • Mentor a multidisciplinary team, elevating the work from execution to ideation.
  • Partner with leaders to balance bold creative leaps with operational excellence.
  • Champion Tilt's why, ensuring empowerment shines through every expression.

  • 10+ years leading creative in agencies, studios, or in-house.
  • Track record of building culturally resonant, business-driving brands.
  • Strength in storytelling across copy, design, and video.
