Home Health Aide (HHA)

The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides clients various personal care and homemaker / companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence.

Essential Functions :

  • Personal Care

Provide assistance with : bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, back care, shampoo, oral hygiene, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheelchair), change of position, with toileting.

  • Companion / Sitter / Household Management

    • Provide companionship and respite services for family

  • Stand-by assist with transfers for fall risk clients
  • Client is paralyzed and the family needs immediate assistance for 2 hours daily (1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening.)

    • Qualifications / Educational Requirements :

  • High school graduate or G.E.D certificate
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job

    • Must be :

  • Willing to keep client active
  • Good at communicating
  • Have driver's license and car with automobile insurance

    • Compensation : $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
