Job Description
We are seeking a Manufacturing Customer Service Representative to support and manage customer accounts across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. This role is central to ensuring an exceptional customer experience while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
The ideal candidate has prior customer service experience within a manufacturing or industrial company, is comfortable handling complex orders and logistics, and enjoys solving problems that make a real impact.
Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing customers by processing orders, tracking shipments, and resolving order-related issues.
- Serve as a point of contact for escalated concerns, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
- Accurately enter sales orders and quotes, maintain order confirmations, and ensure lead times are clearly communicated.
- Monitor and respond to inquiries from shared inboxes and inbound calls.
- Provide reporting on orders, backlogs, and customer requests.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate production and on-time delivery.
- Assist with RMA processing and additional administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (required).Previous customer service experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (required).Proficiency in ERP systems (required); Salesforce experience a plus.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Pivot Tables, Outlook, Word).Ability to work effectively within a small, collaborative team.Why Join Us?
