• Must be willing to float to Nursery and Post-Partum

Description :

This position requires providing care in Labor and Delivery.

The nurse will also be expected to float to the Nursery and Post-Partum units as needed.

The facility is a 175-bed acute care hospital.

It offers a growing integrated network of care to the local community.

The hospital is known for its commitment to quality care and patient safety.

The OB unit generally handles a low volume of deliveries, with less than 15 deliveries per month.

The unit has 3 Labor and Delivery beds, 9 OB beds, 14 Nursery beds, and 3 intermediate nursery beds.

Patient ratios adhere to established guidelines.

The nurse will work with general OB unit equipment.

The Electronic Health Record system used in this unit is Meditech.

The ideal candidate should possess general OB Labor and Delivery and Nursery care experience.

Common diagnoses include OB delivery and nursery care.

Candidates should have a personality fit for a collaborative healthcare environment.

This role is a replacement for permanent staff.
