Are you ready to take your accounting career to the next level? We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Finance industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. Our ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented, and organized individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. This role will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, with a focus on assisting with the monthly close, general ledger, preparing and posting AR / Revenue, and fixed assets.
Responsibilities :
As a Permanent Staff Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include :
1. Assisting in the preparation and execution of the monthly close process.
2. Maintaining and reconciling the general ledger and subsidiary accounts.
3. Preparing and posting accounts receivable and revenue transactions.
4. Overseeing the fixed assets process, including recording acquisitions and disposals, calculating depreciation, and performing periodic physical inventory counts.
5. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
6. Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
7. Providing support for internal and external audits.
8. Ensuring compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
9. Collaborating with other finance team members and departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
10. Participating in special projects and performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications :
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
2. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV or a similar accounting software.
4. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. High attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
9. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
