Summary : Under the direction and leadership of the facilities maintenance organization, will work towards attaining maintenance goals and company objectives. Carry out semi-skilled technical duties involving repair, maintenance, replacement, installation of all facility equipment and systems. Carries out maintenance activities to an appreciably basic level in the areas of electrical and mechanical system safety. Multiple tasks in this sense may include repair, maintenance, alteration, installation, fabrication, construction that require utilization of skills in problem solving, teamwork, communication, giving attention to detail and abiding by all safety guidelines and compliance requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures, including timely and accurate reporting of all work-related injuries and illnesses to the supervisor, promoting safety awareness to co-workers.
- Perform daily / weekly / monthly work schedule to complete inspections, calibrations, preventative, predictive, and planned maintenance while coordinating production requirements, equipment availability and the most efficient use of time, parts and other resources.

- Maintain routine communication with all departments regarding equipment operating status and availability.
- Document daily tasks and ensuring work orders are closed out in a timely manner.
- Maintain all plant equipment records to perform Predictive / Condition Based Maintenance.
- Participate in activities associated with planned utility outages under the direction of the Facilities Manager.
- Offer solutions to drive Continuous Improvement in the workplace.
- Work in a manner that ensures 100% Compliance to Local / State / Fed requirements.
- Work with leadership to create written procedures for all maintenance tasks.
- Promote quality work and a team atmosphere.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Basic knowledge of :Electrical Systems - 1ph and 3ph, control wiring and motor inverters. Residential and industrial (pump panels and controls)Fabrication / WeldingPumps / Motors / MechanicalProcess EquipmentHVAC / Refrigeration SystemProject / Construction ManagementLay out and install piping (PVC, copper and steel). Basic plumbing.Some engine mechanical knowledge a plus.Read plans and schematics. Plumbing, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic.Experience and Qualifications
1-2 yrs. experience with increasing maintenance responsibilitiesEffectively communicate to site personnel, Vendors, OEMs, and Management.
