• Applicants will primarily work remote from home but must be open to go onsite ~4 days per year in the Jackson, MI to Troy, MI area

Position : Medical Coder Trainer

Direct Hire - Base salary range $65,000-$80,000 / yr

Day-to-Day :

This role focuses on educating providers on proper diagnosis and CPT coding to support risk adjustment initiatives. Specialists will be front-facing with physicians, delivering in-person or remote education sessions and supporting product development efforts. The position is employed through the Revenue Cycle department and requires possible travel to various health system sites, primarily within the Tri-State area. Candidates must be comfortable driving to locations and returning home the same day. The team currently includes 19 members and is expected to grow by 8 more by November, with long-term expansion planned.
