Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to provide specialized support in a K-12 educational setting. This part-time contract position seeks a dedicated individual with a focus on enhancing the communication skills of students through individualized therapy and intervention plans.
Qualifications :
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and therapeutic skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with IEPs and related documentation processes
Responsibilities :
Conduct assessments and provide diagnosis for students with speech and language disordersDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to student needsProvide direct therapy services and monitor student progressCollaborate with teachers and staff to facilitate integrated servicesParticipate in staff meetings and professional development opportunitiesMaintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progressCommunicate regularly with parents regarding their childs development and needsLocation :
