Role : System Administrator (Security Systems) x3

Location : Remote (PST / MST / CST)

Engagement : 6 12 month; possibility to extend

Rate : $50 / hr on w2

Overview

Client is looking for Lenel-certified System Administrator to oversee implementation, standardization, and maintenance of enterprise-wide electronic security systems (Lenel OnGuard, CCTV, alarms, access control). This person will support both IT and Physical Security teams to ensure systems are secure, standardized, and compliant with client and national standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Administer, program, and maintain Lenel OnGuard systems across multiple facilities
• Oversee CCTV, video surveillance, and alarm monitoring integrations
• Liaise between Security, IT, Facilities, and Construction teams
• Enforce system standards (naming conventions, configuration documentation, licensing)
• Manage software and hardware health, backups, and upgrades
• Conduct routine system audits, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery
• Train end-users on access control, video, and alarm operations
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, licenses, and assets Required Skills & Experience
• Lenel Security Systems Certification (required)
• 10+ years total systems administration experience
• 5+ years in security systems technology management
• 2+ years managing a security access control and video surveillance systems and security systems engineering.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server and Client Operating Systems.
• A good understanding of Data Bases (MS SQL)
• A good understanding of low voltage security systems networking technologies.
• A good understanding of cyber security and experience in remediation of cyber security threats.
