Distributor Sales Engineer – Low / Medium Voltage Products (St. Louis / Kansas City)

Siemens is looking for a Distributor Sales Engineer for the St. Louis  /  Kansas City markets and surrounding areas. The candidate will carry a multimillion-dollar quota, drive stock product sales within the channel, develop and grow relationships with channel partner organizations, and manage sales, training, programs, and promotions. Remote work is available in the St. Louis  /  Kansas City area. This role reports to the Regional Channel Manager and has no direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement plans for strategic accounts that exceed revenue retention, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify, develop, and manage channel partners to achieve channel goals.
  • Build long-term relationships with key decision makers in assigned accounts.
  • Present products and solutions, articulating value proposition.
  • Provide suggestions to improve volume, market share, and pricing.
  • Develop forecasts, budgets, and operating plans for sales channels.
  • Provide product support for Residential Products, Safety Switches, IEC / NEMA Control, Panelboards, Molded Case Circuit Breakers, Switchboards, Medium Voltage gear, Lighting Panels, Low Voltage Switchgear, Busway, and Motor Control Centers.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ year of sales experience OR 3+ years of sales experience
  • Travel required 20%
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Power distribution & controls product sales experience
  • Knowledge of low voltage / medium voltage power distribution product line
