Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist for the upcoming school year. This contract role offers an opportunity to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students across all grade levels in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' learning needs and challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student well-being
  • Assist in the implementation of behavior management plans and monitor student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert insights on student development

Desired Qualifications :

  • Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations in school settings
  • Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and educational laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and families
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain detailed, confidential records

    Duration : Contract for the full school year (NSY)
