As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned cultural institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the venue and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.Assist visitors, guests, and staff at the location by offering information and direction as needed.Monitor and report any unusual activity, property damage, or hazards to Allied Universal management or designated contacts.Support access control measures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as directed by site protocols.Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs according to Allied Universal standards.What We're Looking For :

Have at least five years of security-related experience or a combination of three or more years of law enforcement, military, and / or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.Customer service experience is preferred.CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
