We are seeking an experienced Surgery - Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, for a duration of 84 days, offering night shifts with options for a 7 on / 7 off schedule or 4 shifts per week. The assignment focuses on cardiovascular and cardiothoracic ICU and step down unit care. Candidates must be proficient in advanced cardiac procedures and hold an active PA license and ACLS certification. Job Details Location : Pennsylvania Start Date : Jan 5, 2026 LOA : 84 days Provider Type Needed : Surgery - Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner Schedule : Nights only, 6 : 30pm – 7 : 30am; provider willing to commit to 7 on / 7 off or 4 shifts per week Responsibilities and Duties Manage patients in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic ICU and step down units Perform and manage procedures such as balloon pumps, central lines, and chest tubes Handle admissions, discharges, and consults Collaborate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation No OR or first assist responsibilities Additional Information Active PA Nurse Practitioner license required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required No new graduates; prior ICU and cardiothoracic experience strongly preferred Proficiency with Epic EMR Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
