Reports To : Production Supervisor / Director of Production FLSA Status : Non-exempt (hourly)

A. Basic Purpose The Purpose of the Sorter / Donation Processor is to prepare donations for retail sale or salvage according to Salvation Army policy and production procedures.

Educational Requirements
1. High School diploma or General Education degree (GED) : or one or two months of related job experience and / or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Must complete and follow all safety training requirements provided by immediate Supervisor.
Physical Requirements
To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform the essential duties with or without accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, bend and stoop. Frequently the employee must walk, climb and / or balance. The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 75 pounds.
