Description : General Function :
Responsible for maintaining the physical condition and appearance of Pierson Road Family YMCA. They will work on the day-to-day maintenance of facilities and grounds based on directions from the Executive Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Perform minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs
- Assist in the day-to-day upkeep of the facilities and property
- Ensure that mechanical areas, shops, storage areas, and hallways are clean and neat
- Provide safe and appropriate storage of all supplies, chemicals, equipment, and vehicles
- Follow risk management protocol to ensure that all property and facilities meet code requirements and are safe for participant use
- Assist in outdoor landscaping work and snow removal
- Ensure overall grounds are clean and well-kept
- Other duties assigned as needed.
- Must be proficient and knowledgeable
- Minor repairs to fitness equipment
Child Abuse Prevention Duties :
Requirements :
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years of age and have a clean driving record. Ability to make sound decisions and follow all risk management protocols. Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
