Job Title : Sr. Data Analyst
Location : 2300 W Broad Street, Richmond, VA (3 Days On-site)

Telework = 3-4 days in office 1-2 days telework
Job Duties
60% Essential Data collection and analysis processes
- Conduct advanced / complex quantitative data analyses to assess performance and identify root causes.
- Collaborate with IT and Data Architect on data requirements.
- Build data models (regression, forecasting, predictive analytics).
- Design and develop reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
- Maintain data governance standards, archives, and dictionaries.
20% Essential Project participation
Define and document data requirements for projects.Ensure validation and retrieval of project data.Work with project staff to evaluate and report performance.20% Essential Data Governance activities
Lead / assist with enterprise data governance initiatives.Collaborate across organization to ensure compliance.Support Data Governance Council with technical solutions.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong knowledge of research, evaluation techniques, and statistical analysis.Skilled in creating advanced visualizations, dashboards, and data models.Experience in regression, forecasting, predictive analytics.Strong policy / legislative analysis and organizational performance improvement background.Knowledge of public / business administration and project planning.Excellent presentation and communication skills.Experience in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI), with preferred skills in Microsoft Project, Visio, Python, and R.Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification
Experience in collecting, managing, and analyzing statistical data.Background in strategic planning, project management, and policy analysis.Strong data management skills aligned with industry standards.Experience in preparing effective communications and presentations.Additional Considerations
