Holman is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Recon Automotive Technician to join our Reconditioning Center team here in New Jersey!
What will you do?
This role is responsible for performing high-quality repairs and inspections on pre-owned vehicles and preparing new vehicles for delivery
Perform multi-point inspections and mechanical repairs on used vehicles to meet reconditioning standards
Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and ensure new vehicles are prepared to manufacturer and dealership specifications
Light diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic issues on a variety of vehicle makes and models
Replace or repair worn parts such as brakes, tires, suspension components, and fluids
Ensure all work is completed accurately and documented in the vehicle reconditioning system
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures
Collaborate with service advisors and foreman to ensure timely completion of vehicles
Stay current with automotive technology and participate in ongoing training
What are we looking for?
ASE certification or manufacturer training is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technical or vocational training preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Willingness to undergo and pass our background requirements
