Description :

This position requires a registered nurse specialized in emergency care.

The nurse will work the night shift, providing care for patients of all ages in an emergency department setting.

Responsibilities include managing a patient load with an average of four patients per nurse.

Special care populations include cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health.

The department also offers services for various medical emergencies, including trauma and stroke care.

The nurse will be required to float to other departments as needed.

Candidates must be flexible with scheduling.

A zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences is enforced.

Compliance with a Pass / Fail EKG exam is mandatory for all registered nurses.

No barriers to completing compliance on time are allowed.

Candidates should be prepared for the exam without provided study material.

Education verification through a third party is required.

Background checks must be clear with no open cases.

This position may occasionally require weekend coverage.

The daily census includes a high volume of patient visits.

Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services, is essential.
