Surgery Scheduler & Authorization Coordinator - (AGHA)

Sante Health System is looking for a full-time Surgery Scheduler & Authorization Coordinator to join our medical office, Advanced Gastroenterology & Hepatology Associates in Fresno, CA . This position is responsible for making and scheduling surgery appointments for patients in an efficient and timely manner. Additional responsibilities also include obtaining, researching and processing authorization requests along with communicating authorization approvals and denials. This position also requires data entry of authorizations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma / GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year medical front office experience.
• Experience with medical terminology, various insurance products and requirements desirable.

Candidates should have exceptional people and communication skills, be highly skilled in multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, a commitment to achieving a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and a no-task-too-small approach to the work.
