Responsibilities Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting within a short term acute care facility Night shifts : 3x12 hours, 19 : 00-07 : 00 Every other weekend required, with potential for back-to-back weekends Patient ratios are 1 : 4 No on-call or block scheduling required Epic EMR is used and experience is required Travelers may be required to float to sister facilities within the area A personal vehicle is required for this assignment Responsibilities include providing emergency nursing care in a busy ED environment with a typical ratio of 1 : 4 Travelers must be flexible and willing to float to affiliate hospitals as needed Scrubs are provided for ED staff Free parking is available onsite Holiday coverage is required, with commitment to work at least 3 out of 5 major holidays Modules are required to be completed before starting the assignment and annually First time travelers are accepted for this assignment RTO requests must be made up-front and are limited to 6 days total or 3 consecutive days Requirements Active OR RN license or eligibility with pending application Minimum of 1 year recent Emergency Department experience Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications Epic EMR experience is required Must provide two supervisory references covering one year within the past three years SSN and DOB required for consideration Must reside outside of a 50 mile radius from the facility Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-623005.
