Since 1995, we have utilized a hands-on, value-added strategy to redevelop and re-position commercial retail and office, multi-family, senior care (assisted living and memory care), and residential subdivision properties into their highest and best use. Our company is also deeply involved in the EB-5 investor program, partnering with international investors to fund real estate development projects in high barrier-to-entry markets.
We focus on the Southeastern U.S., selectively undertaking ground-up development when market conditions are favorable. We are known for assembling an "A Team" of top-tier local third-party professionals for each project.
With over $1B in total developments and rising, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our growing team. This role will play a key part in building and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports our business operations and investment strategies, with a strong emphasis on SQL proficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- \tDesign, develop, and maintain robust ETL / ELT pipelines from CRM, webhooks, and external APIs into SQL databases.
- \tWrite, optimize, and manage complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to ensure integrity and performance.
- \tBuild scalable data models and semantic layers; define and standardize KPIs for sales, marketing, finance, and compliance.
- \tDevelop and maintain dashboards and parameterized / paginated reports in Power BI.
- \tProductionize AI / LLM workflows (summarization, personalization, RAG) with evaluation, version control, and QA.
- \tImplement data intake services and messaging / webhook integrations; automate marketing workflows (lead scoring, lists / tags, attribution with UTM).
- \tBuild lightweight internal apps / forms (e.g., Flask / FastAPI or low-code) integrated with automation flows.
- \tContainerize and schedule jobs; add observability (logging, alerting) and maintain runbooks for reliability.
- \tEstablish best practices for data governance, security (secrets / access), documentation, and SLA monitoring.
- \tSupport ad-hoc analysis, special projects, and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications :
\tBachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science / Data Science or equivalent experience.\t2-4 years in data engineering / analytics / automation.\tAdvanced proficiency in SQL (including T-SQL, performance tuning) and Python.\tHands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle and schema / design best practices.\tStrong Power BI skills, including DAX and paginated / parameterized reporting.\tExperience integrating CRM / marketing platforms via APIs and webhooks (e.g., ActiveCampaign / HubSpot).\tFamiliarity with cloud-based data solutions (AWS, GCP, or Azure).\tComfort deploying and operating services on VMs / containers; working knowledge of Docker, Git, and basic CI.\tPractical data modeling and KPI design; ability to document metrics and data contracts.\tExposure to LLMs (prompting, embeddings) and RAG patterns in production.\tNice to have : low-code tools (Power Apps / Power Automate), WordPress / CMS basics, web scraping (Playwright / Selenium), BI engineering (star schemas, RLS), and basic networking / VPN hygiene.\tStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.\tAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as collaboratively.\tProgramming experience in Python or another scripting language is a plus.Benefits :
