Overview

Electrical Project Manager - Relocation Required. Location : Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Since 1996, RQC, LLC. has been a leading player in Southern California's robust commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. We now have a national presence with current projects spanning coast to coast. We are a full-service Design-Build company. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense (DoD) market. We are looking for an Electrical Project Manager (EPM) to join our Field Operations team located in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Our Electrical PMs are responsible for leading all electrical aspects and phases of a project from conceptual design to final completion in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Our Electrical Project Managers may be responsible for managing more than one electrical project at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all electrical aspects and phases of projects from conceptual design to final completion.
  • Manage more than one electrical project at a time, as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A BA / BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is the minimum formal education required; a combination of equivalent work experience and training may qualify.
  • Four or more years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager responsible for multiple projects with an electrical scope of at least $500,000 (commercial or industrial).
  • Three or more years of experience and fluent understanding of DoD project work structure.
  • Five or more years of experience as a Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager (or equivalent) in the electrical construction industry; experience in the design-build industry is desired.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Bluebeam; knowledge of Internet applications.
  • Specific software literacy (McCormick, Primavera 3 / 6, Autodesk, BIM, Revit) preferred.
  • CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications required (training can be provided). STS certification preferred; LEED GA or AP / AP+ preferred.
  • U.S. work authorization and ability to relocate to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

    • Compensation, Benefits, and Relocation

    Salary range : $130,000-$150,000. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Paid Time Off, Paid Housing, Transportation, Travel home, Full Benefit Package, and eligibility for tax exemptions. This role requires relocation to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, a valid passport, and in-depth background screening.
