Payroll Coordinator
The City of Beloit has an exciting employment opportunity as the Payroll Coordinator in the Accounting and Purchasing Division of the Finance and Administrative Services Department. The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and processing of the City of Beloit's payroll, including performing a variety of confidential payroll functions. This position performs work that involves a high degree of knowledge with fair labor standards and Wisconsin wage and hour laws. The Payroll Coordinator acts as a liaison with the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS), answering questions and resolving problems as needed. Requires close attention to detail in the verification, entry and / or processing of data in conformance with established procedures. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Accounting & Purchasing. Other duties may be assigned.
