Join our growing team as an experienced Pharmacy Technician Lead to support our closed-door pharmacy in Plymouth, MI. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day pharmacy fulfillment operations, including automated packaging, bulk dispensing, compounding, and shipment preparation. The Technician Lead coordinates workflow, provides training and guidance to team members, ensures productivity and accuracy, and maintains compliance with all regulatory standards. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for a licensed pharmacy technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Position : $25 + Per Hour (depending on experience)
Location : At Our Closed-Door Pharmacy in Plymouth, MI
Schedule : Full-Time, 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday + Rotating Weekends, 4 : 00PM–12 : 30AM)
Classification : Non-Exempt
Reports To : Fulfillment Operations Supervisor or Manager

Key Responsibilities
Lead daily pharmacy fulfillment operations, including automated packaging, bulk dispensing, compounding, and staging for shipmentCoordinate department schedules, monitor workflow, and adjust shift assignments as neededTrain and coach staff while providing feedback on performance and development opportunitiesCollaborate with other departments to ensure all production deadlines and quality standards are metOperate and maintain Paxit automated packaging and dispensing systems, responding to equipment issues in real-timeOversee bulk prescription fulfillment, labeling, and third-party claim submissionsEnsure accurate staging and toting of completed orders for deliveryMaintain compliance with all applicable regulations (DEA, OSHA, CMS, Boards of Pharmacy)Support non-sterile compounding activities following USP 795 and company policiesPromote a safe, clean, and organized work environment and encourage continuous improvementQualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced coursework or certification preferredActive state Pharmacy Technician License required (or ability to obtain)2+ years of pharmacy technician experience preferred, ideally in a long-term care or high-volume fulfillment environmentExperience operating automated dispensing or packaging equipment (Paxit, Uhlmann, or similar) a plusStrong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skillsProven ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced settingSkills + Abilities
