The Sr Director, Americas Regional Controller will be responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction and innovation to Dentsply Sirona's Accounting organization in North America, with approximately $1 billion in net sales, overseeing a regional team with responsibility for maintaining books and records that fully comply with US GAAP, local accounting standards and the Company's accounting and reporting policies. You will also manage all aspects of financial reporting for the Americas region, ensuring reporting to support quarterly filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as managing the timely completion of all required statutory reporting, including supporting independent audits where required. Maintaining an environment of effective internal control over financial reporting and compliance with all applicable regulatory standards are also key to success.

This position is a key leadership role within the Accounting organization, leading a team of professionals based in the United States, Canada, Central America and South America, supporting a sustainable team environment while fostering opportunities for professional growth and development, providing oversight to ensure all areas of responsibility are executed with a high degree of quality. The successful candidate will foster productive business partnerships with key stakeholders to provide accounting support with the intended benefit of achieving the Company's priorities and strategic initiative.

The Company is on a transformation journey, implementing SAP S / 4HANA globally, modernizing the finance function and optimizing our global operations. This position will serve as a thought and transformation leader to drive evolution of processes in the interest of efficiency while maintaining effectiveness. This position will also serve as a key business partner supporting the Commercial and operational leadership teams in North America and LATAM, proactively providing accounting guidance to on recurring and non-recurring business transactions.
