The Field Marketing Manager (FMM) is responsible for establishing a strong local presence for Red Bull by aligning with global and national strategies and priorities. They develop robust networks with opinion leaders and key influencers both on social media and in offline settings. The FMM creates and executes marketing initiatives across the four main pillars of the marketing mix : Consumer Collecting, Sports, Culture, and Communications. They utilize opportunities in On Premise, Off Premise, and New Business environments while addressing local needs. FMMs embody our dedication to giving the global brand a local identity by crafting marketing plans based on consumer and product insights, and they guide their teams towards exceptional execution. The FMM works directly in the field to bring the brand to life in the local community.
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with :
- Strategic Direction : Incorporate global and national Red Bull priorities, strategies, and philosophy into local operations to create a regional representation of our global brand. Understand consumer behavior across various fields, which will serve as the basis for generating and executing local ideas. Develop initiatives that enhance brand image and deepen understanding of product functionality at a local level, collaborating with regional and national teams. Gather regional intelligence and market insights, and work with sales teams to ensure product availability across all environments. Manage internal and external requests aligned with the annual business plan.
- Premium Appeal of Local Pride : Create and support local events and marketing opportunities that resonate with the local consumer and media landscape. Ensure positive consumer interactions through attention to detail and premium execution. Build relationships with key influencers, authorities, and media outlets. Collaborate with Sports Marketing to integrate athlete activations and utilize the Event Vehicle program for consumer engagement.
- Marketing Innovation : Stay close to consumer trends through networks and contribute ideas for field activities. Develop creative concepts that embody the brand, leveraging local networks and influencers. Ensure digital and social media are central to initiatives, and identify cross-marketing opportunities.
- Organizational Capabilities and Enabling Structure : Embody Red Bull values, recruit and manage FMSs and Student Marketeers, set regional objectives, and conduct performance assessments. Support team growth through coaching and development.
- Driving Efficiencies : Maintain logistical systems, develop and oversee budgets, identify cost savings, and create strategic partnerships that add value.
Knowledge and expertise required :
3+ years marketing experiencePeople management experienceExperience with sales or trade marketing teamsBudget management and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and networking skillsLeadership, planning, and project management skillsUnderstanding of consumer trends, digital, and cultural insightsCreative marketing mindset with brand understandingAbility to multitask and work cross-functionallyExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenBachelor's degree or equivalentFluent in English; additional languages are a plusValid US drivers licenseThis position is open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or individuals authorized to work in the US on a valid visa.
