Senior Accounting & Data Analyst Role Overview :

The Senior Accounting & Data Analyst will provide financial reporting, analysis, and insights to support business decisions. This role is hands-on and best suited for someone who enjoys working with data, improving systems, and engaging with both finance and operations teams.

Senior Accounting & Data Analyst Key Responsibilities :

Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses across multiple systems.

Partner with operations to connect financial results with business performance.

Conduct data analysis using SQL or similar tools; assist with systems development / enhancement.

Support acquisition analysis and integration.

Streamline and improve processes for greater reporting efficiency and accuracy.

Senior Accounting & Data Analyst Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Finance may be considered).

6-12 years of relevant experience.

Strong data skills, with the ability to work across multiple ERP and operational systems.

SQL or database experience preferred.

Transportation, energy, or commodity industry background a plus.
