Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop is on the hunt for a creative and trend-savvy TikTok Content Creator to join our team! This part-time role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes TikTok trends, knows how to create eye-catching videos, and can bring the fun, quirky spirit of Grandpa Joe's to life through engaging content.

The Role : As a TikTok Content Creator, you'll be responsible for producing engaging TikTok videos and IG reels that reflect our brand's love for candy, humor, and fun. You'll jump on trends quickly, travel to our various store locations to capture great content and deliver videos that keep our customers craving more. This flexible, 5-10 hours per month, 1099 role allows you to create content on your schedule - so long as you get us to the trend finish line on time!

This role is based in the Minneapolis, MN and would include regular visits to our Spring Lake Park, Stillwater, and Bloomington stores to create content.

Responsibilities :

  • Create fun, quirky, and on-brand TikTok videos and Instagram reels
  • Stay on top of TikTok trends and ensure we're always part of the conversation
  • Travel to our store locations to capture fresh content regularly
  • While the primary focus of this role would be video content for TikTok and Instagram reels, taking photos for other content would be a part of the responsibilities
  • Edit videos for maximum engagement and ensure they align with Grandpa Joe's playful and quirky style
  • Collaborate with our team to brainstorm new ideas and content themes
  • Work independently and manage your time to meet content deadlines

Job Requirements :

  • A TikTok pro with knowledge of trends, transitions, and content that goes viral
  • Skilled in video editing, with a portfolio of TikTok or IG reel work to share
  • Comfortable with flexible hours (5-10 per month)
  • Ability to travel to various Grandpa Joe's locations regularly for content creation
  • A passion for candy and a love for making people smile
