Global recycling company is seeking Sanitation / Garbage Associates for full-time opportunities at their recycling facility located in the Bronx.

Pay : $16.50

1st Shift :

6 : 30 AM until completion

2nd Shift :

3 : 00 PM until completion

Location : Bronx

Responsibilities :

  • Must have experience in Garbage Sanitation, Recycling, and be tolerant of odors.
  • Separate and sort recycling items such as plastic and glass bottles from other debris.
  • Learn to identify and sort according to classification.
  • Stand for four hours at a time (based on shift and break rotations).
  • Ability to lift, bend, sweep, shovel, and maneuver materials (less than 40 lbs.).
  • Wear hard hat, gloves, and sturdy work boots at all times within the facility.

Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of experience in Sanitation, Construction / Demolition, or General Labor is preferred.
  • Must meet physical standards as specified above.
  • Ability to work in environments exposed to odors, hot or cold weather.
  • Must be a team player.
