job_description.job_card.job_descriptionEnsures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times. Review paperwork to insure compliance with company, and governmental rules and regulations. Sample all inbound loads, trucks, and trailers. Prepare the sample and submit it for lab analysis. Prepares paperwork receipts for filing and processing. Unload trucks and trailers into the used oil receiving tanks. General housekeeping of the facility. Other duties as required. HS Diploma or GED. 1-2 years of loading / unloading railcars preferred. Forklift experience preferred. Track Mobile experience is a plus! Petroleum experience is an asset. Excellent communication and detail oriented written and verbally. Must be able to work simple mathematical calculations. Mechanically inclined is a plus! Ability to work in all weather conditions. Basic computer knowledge. Must work well with a team and independently. Great work ethic and punctual. Follow direction and take initiative. Safety minded. Must be able to stand for long periods, lift to 50lb, work at heights, bend, stoop and climb. CH
Our Synergy branch in Kingsland, GA is currently seeking a Rail Yard Operator . As an Operator, you will be responsible for receiving, sampling, and unloading all inbound bulk shipments of used oil by rail, and truck. This individual will work within all local, state, and federal rules and regulations; and follow all Clean Harbors policies and procedures.
Shift : Mon-Fri : 6am-6pm and some Saturdays if needed.
Pay : $21hr
