About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Vice President of Sales and Marketing to lead and execute all aspects of our sales, marketing, and partnership management functions under direction of our Chief Revenue Officer. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue generation, tracking and managing key performance indicators (KPIs), and building a scalable growth strategy. Initially a hands-on role, this position requires a proven self-starter who can successfully execute across multiple disciplines and eventually grow and lead a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive consistent revenue growth across all channels
- Identify new market opportunities, build and manage the sales pipeline, and cultivate key customer relationships
- Personally lead and close strategic sales opportunities during the early stage of the role
- Establish sales processes, forecasting methodologies, and performance metrics to ensure accountability and measurable success
Marketing Strategy & Execution
Create and implement a multi-channel marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and generate demandOversee development of marketing campaigns, content strategy, digital presence, and lead generation programsEstablish the companys brand positioning, messaging, and presence in alignment with strategic goalsAnalyze marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and ensure ROIPartnership Management
Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships and alliances that support business objectivesFoster strong relationships with key partners to enhance product offerings, expand market reach, and drive revenueRevenue & KPI Management
Define and track key revenue, sales, and marketing performance indicatorsDevelop and present regular reports to the executive team and stakeholdersLeverage data-driven insights to guide decision-making and strategic adjustmentsTeam Development

Proven track record of driving revenue growth in a small or entrepreneurial company environment10+ years of progressive experience in sales and marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership roleDemonstrated success in developing and executing integrated sales and marketing strategiesStrong analytical skills and data-driven approach to decision-making and KPI managementExcellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on role and scale operations as the company growsExperience with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and digital marketing best practicesPersonal Attributes
