Travel Licensed Vocational / Practical Nurse (LVN / LPN) – Clinic

Shift : Days | 5 : 30 AM – 2 : 00 PM | 8 hours / day | 40 hours / week guaranteed

Weekend Requirements : Coverage needed on some Sundays | On-Call : None

Job Summary :

HumanEdge Health is seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic LVN / LPN for a 13-week travel assignment in Greenfield, MA. The nurse will dispense prescribed medications as part of a collaborative treatment team with Physicians and Nursing Supervisors. This role also includes managing medication inventory, maintaining dispensing equipment, and reporting patient treatment information.

Responsibilities :

Administer daily medications to patients in accordance with program policies and medical protocols

Use automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps, and maintain dispensing equipment

Maintain accurate records and reports per company protocol and federal / state regulations

Ensure compliance with security standards for controlled substances distribution and storage

Order, receive, and stock medications in compliance with DEA and state regulations (if granted Power of Attorney)

Provide daily assessments of patients

Assist Nursing Supervisor with orienting new nursing staff

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications :

Minimum 1 year of medication administration experience – Required

Opioid Addiction Center experience – Highly Preferred

Required Certifications : BLS (AHA)

Assignment Highlights :

8-hour day shifts

40 hours / week guaranteed

Coverage on some Sundays required

No on-call
