What you will do :
- Lead and manage audit, review, and compilation engagements, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with professional standards
- Prepare and review financial statements (including full footnote disclosures) for assurance engagements
- Perform and oversee advanced analytical reviews of client financial data, identifying key insights and trends.
- Review client books and records, recommend and implement adjustments to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Oversee and mentor staff on assurance and tax engagements, providing technical guidance and review support
- Utilize various trial balance, depreciation, tax, and assurance software to manage and organize engagement documentation
- Prepare and review a wide variety of complex tax returns, including S corporations, C corporations, partnerships, LLCs, individuals, and trusts.
- Collaborate with partners and managers to identify client service opportunities and strengthen client relationships
What we look for :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required, master’s degree preferred3+ years’ experience in the public accounting industry, preferably with both tax and audit experienceEA or CPA required (or actively working towards licensure)Excellent communication, attention to detail, strong analytical skillsProficient with accounting software, and ability to learn new systems quicklyExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsProactive problem solving and ability to self-manage projectsExperience with Ultra Tax and Checkpoint Engage a plusStrong knowledge of QuickBooks and ExcelWhat we offer :
