Description

Traffic Signal Technician :

This position will be responsible for performing various duties of troubleshooting, maintenance and repair duties on street lights and traffic signals.

Job Type : Full-Time +, Non-Exempt

Essential Functions & Responsibilities :

Must have knowledge of signal & detection functions.

Level II IMSA preferred.

Ability to read & understand signal / ITS and lighting plans.

Advance training provided after 6 months of employment.

Competitive hourly rates w / overtime and benefit package.

Must be available to travel, if needed.

Having a CDL A is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications :

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Level II IMSA preferred.

Having a CDL A is preferred.

Must be available to travel, if needed.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Level II IMSA preferred.

Having a CDL A is preferred.

Pre-Screen

Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and / or MVR check.

License & Certifications :

Valid Driver's license required.

Level II IMSA preferred.

Having a CDL A is preferred.

Travel Requirements :

Must be willing to travel as needed.

Physical Requirements :

RARE (less than 10%) : Sitting, Kneeling, Crawling, Color Vision, Climbing Stairs

OCCASIONAL (up to 33%) : Stooping, Squatting, Climbing On / Off Truck, Climbing Ladders, Pushing, Reading, Lifting to 50 lbs.

FREQUENT (up to 66%) : Carrying, Pulling, Balancing, body-twisting, Hearing / Speech Range, Lifting, lifting to 10 lbs., Manual Dexterity, Speaking Clearly, Walking

CONTINUOUS (up to 100%) : Standing, Sense of Touch, Gripping, Seeing, Reaching, range-of-motion, Depth Perception, lifting over 10 lbs. to 50 lbs., Climbing
