Job Description

As a Security Professional - Chemical Access Patrol in Texas City, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your presence and attention to detail will support daily operations, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and clear communication will foster a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific protocols to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or prohibited activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for irregularities and report any concerns.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed to support security-related operations at the chemical or petrochemical location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
