About The Position

Job Title : Hybrid Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum 1.5 years required; first-timers accepted

License : Must be in hand prior to start date

Certifications : ACLS, ARRT R, BLS

Must-Have :

• Must have Interventional Radiology skills along with Cath Lab experience
• Required to work weekends, every third weekend
• On-call required : Call in Cath Lab and Hybrid OR 10 shifts a month
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Required to have in-state license and certifications in hand

Description :

The position involves a dual role in the Hybrid Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology.

The shift time is from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM, with potential for an earlier start.

There will be rotating after-hours call shifts.

This role requires expertise in various procedures including Endovascular Interventions, Diagnostic Catheterizations, and Pacemaker Insertion.

Applicants should be proficient in monitoring equipment and maintaining a sterile field.

The environment supports interdisciplinary collaboration and various patient care services.

Candidates must be able to troubleshoot specialized equipment.

Floating to different areas within the facility may be required.

Additional skills in areas such as Carotid Stenting, TEVAR, and TAVR are advantageous.

The candidate must demonstrate the ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.

There will be a requirement to participate in special procedures and take STEMI call.

The hospital has a total capacity of 194 to 210 beds.

The charting system in use is Cerner.
