Job Summary and Qualifications

Imaging Nurse

The imaging nurse will : provide high quality nursing care to the patients within medical imaging. Skills used int heir job performance include patient assessment, communication, teaching and quality improvement. The imaging nurse will also : Identify the patients' needs, plan, implement appropriate interventions, document and evaluate patients' outcomes; provide care in collaboration with other healthcare team members; be knowledgeable of normal lab values to include : CBC, Hemoglobin, Hematocrit, PT, PTT, and platelets; report abnormal lab values; administer medications via intradermal, intramuscular, intravenous, sublingual, subcutaneous or central venous catheter mode; manage care of the patient during invasive procedures; maintain safe

What you will do in this role :

You will utilize therapeutic communication in daily practice, maintains a safe therapeutic environment, and identifies nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient.

You must demonstrate age specific knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment and care of patients.

Ensuring the privacy of our patients and confidentiality of their Protected Health Information (PHI) is core to your role.

You will utilize the nursing process for individual care to meet needs of patients and document all patient care.

Your role demonstrates the ability to perform technical skills, follow procedures, and show critical thinking.

You will provide care and coordinate participation that fosters the goals of the hospital's mission and vision statement.

What qualifications you will need :

Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

(RN) Registered Nurse : Minimum of 2 year of experience

Associate Degree
