Quality Technician
We are seeking a Quality Technician to support product complaint investigations and ensure timely, accurate reporting. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, documentation, and support of continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electronic circuits and mechanical failures to determine root cause.
- Utilize lab equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, microscopes, gauges, and custom fixtures.
- Document all investigation results in the electronic complaint system.
- Prepare, decontaminate, and manage returned products, including SAP transactions and physical scrapping.
- Review product records (DHR, risk assessments, labeling, etc.) for non-return complaints.
- Assist in developing and qualifying test methods, data sheets, and fixtures.
- Support lab maintenance and ensure calibration of equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and create change requests as needed.
Qualifications
Associates degree or equivalent work experience.1+ year in a related field; 2+ years in a failure analysis or quality lab preferred.Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.Proficiency with Windows and MS Office; SAP experience a plus.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and quality-focused.Medical device industry experience preferred.
