American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT and BLS certification for a night shift position with advanced imaging skills required.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
MRI technologist position within a hospital setting focused on magnetic resonance imaging across multiple body regionsNight shifts, Tuesday through Friday, from 8 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM, with no weekends, call, or float required13-week contract assignmentWork involves imaging adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations; familiarity with neonates, infants, and pediatric patients is preferredExperience with GE and Siemens MRI equipment is requiredUses Epic for charting and documentationStandard orientation includes hospital and unit onboarding with training scheduled during first week from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PMMay be assigned to Storm Team or Hurricane Team and required to work during disaster or catastrophic eventsNo floating to other units or facilities is required for this assignmentRoyal blue scrubs must be wornRTO after booking is not permitted and RTO during orientation week is not allowed; call offs or additional RTO may result in cancellationCandidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays during the contract periodPrior employees must wait 12 months before reapplying as travelersCandidates living within 50 miles will be offered local pay ratesCompletion of modules required pre-start and annually per acute care protocolsReferences required at start : two manager or supervisor references from the past 12 months are highly preferred\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years of recent MRI technologist experience requiredARRT certification and BLS certification requiredAdvanced MRI skills including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral MRI, spin echo, surface coils, T1 and T2, and CINENC or Compact state license required at time of start; license required if applicablePrevious Epic EMR experience requiredFirst-time travelers are not accepted for this position\n Benefits\n
