Anchor Bar Restaurant : Hiring for Prep Cooks / Receiving

  • Pay Rate : $10.00 per hour - $12.00 per hour
  • Reports to : General Manager, Kitchen Supervisor & Assistant Managers

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare a variety of wings, pizzas, sandwiches, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using fryers, broilers, ovens, grills, stovetops, and other kitchen equipment.
  • Properly prep ingredients according to the Prep Appendix for use in menu item preparation.
  • Preserve the integrity and quality of all food products.
  • Maintain food value through proper ordering, rotation, and defrosting procedures.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Monitor food costs by minimizing waste, following correct rotation practices, preventing theft, ensuring accurate recipes, and reducing errors.
  • Oversee the maintenance of kitchen equipment and cleanliness of all kitchen areas.
  • Ensure proper sanitation practices and the accurate rotation of stock.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager-on-duty.
