As Needed Substitute FY 25-26

Polaris Tech Charter School is looking for a PRN substitute teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. We seek those who will join an outstanding education team to unleash student potential and cultivate aspirations – where students are career-focused, college-ready, and invested in the community.

Requirements

• Experience with iReady is preferred
• Power School Experience
• Willingness to work with other navigators to ensure learning continues when Navigator is out
• Ability to learn new technology tools quickly (e.g., database and web-based tools)
• Ability to support and guide parents as well as students
• Knowledge of effective and innovative instructional and student evaluation techniques
• Ability to develop effective relationships with pupils, parents, navigators, staff and the community
• Outstanding references from current and former supervisors
• Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report
