Lead Substation Engineer

Overview

The Protection and Control Engineer IV performs design engineering activities requiring a basic understanding of drawings, calculations, specifications, and industry standards and practices covering the assigned work. This role is responsible for relay protection and control engineering, including detailed design for substation projects of varying size, complexity, and voltage class.

This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid schedule

Responsibilities

• Proposal and Scope Development

Lead preparation of proposals, conceptual designs, and execution plans.

Lead protection and control design, including panel arrangements, single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring, and relay panel layouts.

Ensure conformance with design plans, specifications, and industry standards.

Act as Project Engineer for projects of moderate to large size and complexity.

Promote accurate record-keeping and ensure high-quality work.

Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

Support business development and marketing initiatives.

Compensation

Compensation : In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation : Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
